Now I had a trial, I loved it, and want to book for my event. How does this work?

You will fill out a contract with the stylist/ makeup artist. All the details of the event, and what is needed will be on the contract. A credit card number is also required to reserve your day. Your card will then be charged $100 for the deposit, which will go towards the event. The total will not be charged to the credit card until after the event.

What if I don't sign the contract?

This does not guarantee your day, and the team member will not be hired for the job.

I don't want to pay by credit card, what are my other payment options?

With the way our company works, credit cards are the easiest, most stress free way. We also accept checks and money orders made out to Fairytale Hair and Makeup. As a last resort, cash is an option, and is preferred for the trial

What happens on the day of the event?

Our staff arrives at your location with all materials. They then do the job that was discussed at the trial. If you want to add or subtract services, that's fine. The appropriate staff and materials will be there for what is stated on the contract.

Does anything happen after the Event?

You will be sent a credit card receipt. We would also love to hear about your experience with us.

What if I don't have a trial?

You will be asked to make a deposit and fill out a contract, which will guarantee your day & our staff. Arrangements will be discussed with Tara. If it is last minute, we can still accommodate you.

I might need someone to stay to touch up my hair/ makeup, is that possible?

Yes! We charge $50 for the first hour, $25 for every hour after. Rates begin when you leave for the event.

Should my hair be washed?

Wash your hair the night before. It will stay better if it is a little dirty. Have it totally dried (blown strait even better). That saves time.

What should I wear?

A button or a zip down shirt. We don't want to mess up your beautiful hair and makeup!

I want extensions for my event, can you do that also?

We do offer hair extensions. But if you want them just for your event, I recommend clip ons or a hair piece. This is less expensive. We can order them for you after we match your hair color. You can also get them at your local wig shop.

What is the difference between airbrush and regular makeup?

Airbrush makeup makes your skin look luminerous, flawless. It also stays on longer than regular makeup. You can airush foundation, concealor, eyeshadow, liner, even lipstick. We do charge $25 extra for airbrush makeup. Please see our explinations of the different types of makeup.

What is Airbrush Tanning?

Airbushing any part of your body that you would like to be tanned. It can just be a little color, or you can look like you just went to St. Tropez! Whats the difference between airbrush and Mystic tan? Aibrush is customized. by a professional. Mystic leave you orange, and also might miss some spots. How long does it lasr? Up to one week. But you can keep it up with a good self tanner.

Do you offer a trial?

Yes! We can either come to you, or you can visit us. A trial is highly recommended. You will get to know your stylist/ makeup artist. See how the style/ makeup lasts, make sure there are no allergic reactions, know what look you are going to have, and what it looks like.

What happens at a trial?

Hair- The stylist and yourself will discuss the style you are interested in. You may bring a picture out of a magazine, book, or possibly the stylist has a portfolio of their own work you can choose from. If you have a veil, tiara or other hair accessories, it is recommended you have them to see how the style will look for your event.

Makeup- The makeup artist will discuss what look you are going for; natural, exotic, etc. You can also bring pictures of what you want. You will be made up how you want to look for your event. What kind of makeup you want, eyelashes etc. will all be done at the trial.
